- The percentage of the population who sees depression as a personal weakness – 54% – this is one of the reasons why the stigma remains so huge. It is not a personal weakness!
- Worldwide, depression remains the leading cause of disability.
- It’s predicted that by 2020, depression will be the 2nd largest killer following heart disease.
