Four weeks ago I was inspired by a group of ladies at the Entrepreneurial Moms – Calgary Chapter event. In particular Kathy Buckworth, Christie Schulz & Carla Young. I was inspired on many different levels; completing my book, some great tips on publishing and also using Twitter, which all three of these ladies have mastered!
Shine vs Whine: Shine I am going to play full out for twitter for a month and see what happens vs Whine Twitter is too complex and a waste of time.
So, in I went… I set up my twitter account quite some time ago, although really didn’t “get it”, quite honestly thought it was a bunch of BS… Was I ever wrong! I have networked with like minded business people and made incredible connections: from business advice, Mompreneur tips, Mental Health resources, inspirational quotes & stories, support and so much more. Twitter is where I met Kathleen Sullivan of The Savvy VA who just finished merging my website and blog together, I am so grateful that I met her – the outcome is fantastic – Thanks Kathleen!
I have also had the honor of being one of the team posting “tweets” for FearlessWomenCA,this in itself has been so much fun! To see the viral impact of sharing a good cause has been remarkable. The gift in posting tweets for FearlessWomenCA is that I have become fearless, tweeting to celebrities, and just doing what it takes to spread the word of this incredible event that is raising money for great causes – Brown Bagging It Calgary and National Society of Women of Canada. Check it out at http://fearlesswomencalgary.eventbrite.comAugust 26th!
It has also given me the opportunity, along with Facebook to stay connected with everyone back in Calgary, while I am here in Australia.
I am seeing amazing results both personally & professionally and am so grateful I have become fearless in connecting with people to keep shining bright and allowing people to Know, Like & Trust me online.
