“So how do you begin to protect your own sensitivity? By becoming aware of the people, places, and things that cause you to shut down, numb out, or leave the present moment. Sensitivity is about being open and receptive to life. It’s about being in the present moment, right here, right now, with your soul’s antenna fully engaged so that you can tune in to the magic and beauty life has to offer.”
Taking the steps to protect my sensitivity isn’t going to be easy, as it involves saying no to people, places and things that aren’t serving me. On the flip side though it means saying yes to what does. And saying yes yesterday to myself and my family felt very good.
Are you sensitive? Do you hear the voices external and internal with the words “You’re too sensitive!?”
