Don’t bring your preconceived notions to the moment. Let go of all your shoulds, coulds, woulds and listen. Beyond listening, hear. Listening is opening your ears; hearing is opening your heart. How do you know which voice is speaking, your ego or your omniscient self? Because your higher self always wants your higher good and it feels good in the depths of your being when you say YES! to this.
This was a line that almost jumped out off the page as I read Honing UR Innate Spidey-Spenses, one of the many posts I love reading at The Phone Booth Project. The passionate soul behind this witty and fun project is Jennifer Wortman Maki. I was fortunate enough to meet Jennifer on Facebook through my dear friend Farhana Dhalla. As I started following her posts, and interacting with her online I felt this divine connection.
There are people in this world who give tirelessly for the greater good, who lift people up with love, kindness and compassion. Jennifer is one of those people. In the short time I’ve known her, she has loyally shared the message of mental illness awareness and included me on her League of Xtraordinary Game-Changers Wall of Fame.
One blog post Jennifer shared in particular touched my heart deeply. Her exquisite ability to tell a story is astounding. Krysta’s MS Journey is a beautiful story of a brave woman’s journey through Multiple Sclerosis.
Be sure to check out this amazing woman being the change she wishes to see in the world.
Worthy Wednesday is about celebrating that you are worthy, we are all worthy, and that you are enough.
Every Wednesday Lee gives a SimpLee Serene Shout Out to an individual or organization being the change they wish to see in the world.
